Gift du Jour ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by Creo Holdings LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, join our waitlist, or use Gift du Jour services, including curated gifting recommendations and Gift Circle features.

Information We Collect

Waitlist and account information. When you join our waitlist or create an account, we collect your name and email address to personalize communications and deliver our services.

Profile, Gift Circle, and product information. Gift du Jour may collect information you provide while using our services, including profile preferences, optional city/state/zip text, birthday, gift notes, names or labels you assign to people in your Gift Circle, relationship context, occasion dates, gift preferences, saved or hearted items, and account-level subscription details. We use this information solely to provide curation, reminders, saved lists, and related Gift Circle features. Some of these features are launching progressively; we will update this section as new functionality becomes available.

Reminder and SMS contact information. If you enable reminder features, we may collect your reminder email address, device notification token, or phone number. Gift du Jour sends opt-in gift occasion reminders to eligible account holders who enable SMS reminders in their account settings/profile preferences. SMS reminders are optional recurring messages for saved birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, and other gift occasions, and may include curated gift ideas. Account SMS reminders require opt-in and are available only for accounts, plans, or packages that include them. See our SMS Program page for program details, opt-in, and opt-out instructions.

Mobile information. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We use service providers such as Twilio only to deliver and support SMS reminders you request.

Technical information. We may collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type, and general usage patterns to support site performance and improve the experience.

Beta Tester Program

If you apply to participate in our beta tester program, we may collect information related to your feature usage, feedback, and testing experience in order to improve Gift du Jour before and after launch. Beta participation is optional, and beta-related information is used only for product development, support, and service improvement.

Email Communications

By joining our waitlist or creating an account, you consent to receive emails from Gift du Jour at the address provided. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request removal from our communications at any time by contacting unsubscribe@giftdujour.com.

Cookies and Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for site functionality, performance measurement, and analytics. These tools help us understand visits, improve the experience, and support our launch efforts. Where required, we will provide additional notice or consent options as our use of cookies evolves.

Your information is stored and processed through service providers including Supabase (secure database and authentication), Resend (email delivery), Apple Push Notification service (push notifications), Twilio (SMS occasion reminders, where enabled), and payment processors for subscriptions. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access or disclosure.

Payments and Subscriptions

Subscription payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Gift du Jour does not store full payment card details on its own servers. Payment processing is subject to the privacy practices of our payment provider.

Affiliate Disclosure
